Using Volumio With Minimserver - DigiOne

I posted this on the Volumio help forum (with no response) and the networked audio forum on this site but figured I might get more of a response here?

 

I'm currently messing around with a number of different options to stream from my NAS to my Allo DigiOne Signature with Volumio OS. This includes:

 

1. Lumin App from Minimserver
2. MConnect from Minimserver
3. Volumio direct from NAS
4. Volumio from Minimserver

 

In the first 3 cases the album & track info is perfect but when I use Volumio to stream from Minimserver on my NAS I get the jumbled info below. Any ideas?

 

 

BTW, I definitely hear a difference between using Minimserver and just using Volumio direct......I'm not sure why? I also haven't decided which one is "better".
