Guest hifichip76
I've had a good experience so far using Pure Music and Maxx. This software combo worked great when I bought a hi-res album from hdtracks.com and was able to listen at native bit-rate on the computer. But AppleTV does not use Pure Music, right? Notwithstanding the other thread about whether AppleTV is bit-perfect- Surprisingly, the hi-res files played through my Apple TV and sounded good.. Were they being down-res'd? The dac I use with the Apple TV can handle it and it sounded good. Anyone know what Apple TV does with hi-res files? Link to comment
