Streaming to PS Audio Bridge

For about a week now I have been using the Bridge in my PWD to play music from my PC through my main system. To start with I ripped about 200 cds to flac and stored them on a 1tb hard drive on my PC.I used dBpoweramp in secure mode to rip. I am using JRiver Media Center 15.0.136 as my library and DLNA server. I have it set up to stream uncompressed.

While it sounds good I dont think it is quite as good as the Perfect Wave Transport. It has great detail but seems to lack some midrange warmth and bass extention. It is only a slight difference but you can notice it. Also I cant seem to be able to apply any EQ or effects in the DSP settings of the Audio Options menu in the JRMC.This is something I would like to do to some of my less than high-end files. Through my PC its not a problem but through the PWD it wont work.

As optimum sound quality is my goal I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me.
