Etnier
Audio engineer here, new to the forum. I've been looking around for a way to get digital audio out of my iPod so as to be able to D/A convert externally. Is the Wadia 170i the only product which facilitates this? If so, why? Seems overpriced (at least by pro audio, not audiophile standards)for such a one-trick pony. Are there no other products on the market? Link to comment
Audio_ELF
There is an Onkyo device - the ND-S1 if I remember correctly. Also there is the Wadia 171i - a development of the original which is iPhone compatible. Very similar to Wadia though the video is limited to Composite. Eloise Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment
Etnier
Thanks! I had seen this a few months ago now that you mention it. A more recent Google search revealed US importers. Many thanks! Link to comment
