Mytek Manhattan I DAC/Pre-Amp for sale in perfect cosmetic and working condition.

This is a superlative product, with an extremely dynamic sound. Totally holographic..super detailed without any edge and incredible bass. I believe this DAC will compete with anything out there.

Beautiful scalloped finish...the aesthetics are as good as anything out there IMO.

I use it in a very high end system direct into a Rowland 625 S2 amp with great results. I use XLR out to my amp and single ended outputs to a subwoofer which it drives with ease.

The Mytek Manhattan is extremely flexible..huge array of inputs and outputs. Excellent display which shows the sample rate of the incoming audio stream as well as volume level. Uses universal Apple remote which is included. Handles all types of PCM and DSD.

Also includes a fully balanced headphone amp.

There are not too many of these units in circulation and they are not easily obtained at discounts.

Manhattan I is fully upgradable to Manhattan II for a reasonable price through the Mytek office in New York though the sonics on Manhattan II (which I own) are virtually identical to Manhattan I.....can't say you'd really want to upgrade.
