Sonicorbiter SE for Gato dia 250? + synology+ Jriver

Sonicorbiter SE been recommended for us and it looks just the ticket?

Wanting to connect the Sonicorbiter SE's Usb output to the Gato's usb input.... Any known or likely issues?

Wanting to use the iPad to control vai jrivers remote app.

Also synology and jriver work? I've heard somewhere it's not a go'er and the synology doesn't get seen?

Any help or other ideas greatly received.... not to much technical mumbo jumbo please
