jky999
I've got my entire collection ripped in AIFF format. I've been listening to my iPhone quite a bit lately. Is there a way to convert the AIFF songs to Lossless/MP3 and send them to the iPhone without creating duplicates of every conversion? The only way I've been able to do this is to change the "Import Setting" to Lossless or MP3 and then create a duplicate so that I've got an AIFF version and Lossless/MP3 version. Any help is appreciated? Audio_ELF
http://dougscripts.com/itunes/ has several scripts for recompressing, transferring and then deleting the compressed version from your iTunes library - maybe something from here will help you. Eloise Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment
Max
At least if you are using a Mac, there is an AppleScript that might help Max Link to comment
