I never do myself: I leave it on max vol, and thus save the wear-and-tear of the volume pot.

Thanks, one person said to not max it out just back off a little but how much is a little?

Why don't you ask that person since what I told you was that essentially, if you don't max it out and use it as a pre-amp, you're essentially putting two-pre-amps one after another, which for me, isn't ideal?

Sorry that sounds good. When the power is off on my Mac the little led on top of the wifi nano is white but when I power up my Mac it turns to green. What does that indicate?
