They want you to have SOME reason to pay more for the standard Aries (besides sound quality/industrial design apparently) so they are restricting RoonReady to that higher price point device. Bummer, I was somewhat interested in setting up Roon. I guess there's always the microRendu for going that route at an affordable price.
