How to get the best sound out of a Macbook Pro to A PS Audio Digital Link III

Hi All,

I'm new to the site. However I have been scanning it for about a week now. I want to setup a music server and connect it to my home system. It currently has Quicksilver M-80 monoblocks with a Passive Pre-Amp. The speakers are JM Labs Daline 3's and a Rega Apollo CD player.

 

This is what I'm looking to add to the system:

APPLE Macbook Pro (13")

PS Audio Digital Link III Dac.

 

My question is : How do I connect these two to get the best possible sound from them?

 

Also I have only used I tunes for my I-Pods. Is I-tunes the best option or is their a better one? And in regards to AIFF or Wav which way should I go?
