This article talks about a new power standard for USB. It's called PD and it'll automatically sense the device's input voltage and adjust giving up to 100W. It would be super cool to install a USB outlet into your wall and plug in your device, but that implies that a switching power supply would actually be inside the outlet and I know alot of people prefer linear. Even still, it's interesting.
