Garf
Couldn't let the 40% off Naim hires downloads go unused, so I gave this a go. This is a local effort (Chicago based players, and recorded in the suburbs of Chicago), which is what drew me to this selection. Very nice recording, if you like to adventure in jazz music. Half of this is what most people would expect to hear a Jazz trio play, the other half is what I imagine a Jazz player would love to record, given the chance. Improvisation, fusion, songs that push the envelop of what Jazz is. Highly recommended. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Analyzed: Union / Union -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DR Peak RMS Duration Track -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DR15 -2.43 dB -22.85 dB 4:56 01-Star Crossed Lovers DR11 0.00 dB -13.95 dB 5:18 02-The Very Thought Of You DR14 -0.32 dB -19.94 dB 4:46 03-Amazing Grace DR12 -0.04 dB -14.56 dB 3:53 04-Not Enough Of Too Much DR14 -1.69 dB -21.38 dB 6:24 05-My One And Only Love DR13 -0.02 dB -19.51 dB 5:12 06-Laurel House DR13 -0.90 dB -18.88 dB 3:56 07-Wonderous Love DR14 -0.30 dB -18.40 dB 4:58 08-I´m Glad There Is You DR16 -0.55 dB -22.59 dB 3:06 09-Inflections DR15 -2.31 dB -22.01 dB 5:00 10-Blue In Green DR12 -0.02 dB -16.13 dB 6:11 11-The Late, Late Blues DR13 -0.08 dB -17.03 dB 4:24 12-Free Lunch DR14 -0.11 dB -17.19 dB 2:50 13-What Am I Here For DR14 -12.44 dB -33.59 dB 0:21 14-Final Thought -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Number of tracks: 14 Official DR value: DR14 Samplerate: 192000 Hz Channels: 2 Bits per sample: 24 Bitrate: 4992 kbps Codec: FLAC Roon Rock running on a Gen 7 i5, Akasa Plao X7 fanless case.
