change termination on a power cord

Hello,

How difficult is it to change the female end on a power cord? I have a Transparent Audio High Performance PowerLink power cord that is too big to fit in my Rega Brio-R. I removed the IEC housing and it fits now but rubs up against the speaker inputs. Can I or is there someone out on there who can change the female termination to a smaller termination?
