Beowulf
In an iTunes install where does iTunes keep the art work? I have iTunes on my primary computer and the music files are all saved on network attached storage. Are the art files on the computer or on the attached storage with the music files? Thanks Lee Estes a/k/a Beowulf Link to comment
cfmsp
Itunes has a folder called Album Artwork in which artwork images are stored. This folder resides in 'iTunes' folder on the local hard drive of the system in use. There also exists a folder called iTunes Music, which resides in the Itunes folder. Music will automatically be stored in this folder unless you select another place to store you music files. enjoy clay Link to comment
willfriedwald
are you using a Mac? There's a script for Mac iTunes called "Embed Artwork," which stores the JPEG in the soundfile itself. Why is this useful? This way, when you move or copy the file somewhere else, such as an external hard drive, a different system, or an iPod, the JPG goes with it. Go to doug's applescripts for iTunes, there's a ton of useful stuff for Mac iT users there... W Link to comment
