jbbm
hello -- i finally got my 2011 mac mini connected to my moon 300d dac yesterday (when i received my lifatec silflex cable) and after installing the fidelia trial, i listened to this 24/96 copy of guaraldi's "a charlie brown's christmas" from hdtracks. whilst i'm still ambivalent about purchasing music in an immaterial format, this quick listening session got me wondering how dave brubeck's "time out" would sound in high-res. it is available in download format from the itunes store... but that would be in lossy aac. further digging did not yield anything better than the 256kbps aac version sold by apple. this surprises me. is anyone working on getting "time out", huh, out in 24/96 (or better) download format?
