    As one of the founding fathers I would like to announce the Audiophile Wiki has been launched! Those of you familiar with other Internet Wiki sites will no doubt be a fan of this one. Audiophiles unfamiliar with the whole Wiki concept can think of this as an encyclopedia of all things related to audio. The one huge benefit of a Wiki is its open access for everyone to create and edit entries. Read more for further details.<!--more-->

    <i>"The Audiophile Wiki is a free resource for audiophiles to share their knowledge.* Launched on May 27th, 2008, the Wiki is intended to serve as a resource for the Audiophile community as well as anyone interested in high end music reproduction.

    It is created, maintained, and moderated by you.* All entries are free to view.* To edit or add an entry, click the SIGN UP button above and get a free account.* Your information will be held privately and never shared with any outside source.

    The Wiki was founded and is financed by PS Audio International and given as a gift to the Audiophile community with no expectations of financial gain."</i>

    So, if you want to know about a manufacturer or just what the heck S/PDIF is, the Audiophile Wiki will soon have the answers for audiophiles. All the articles will describe concepts, products, manufacturers etc... and the articles will be written for an audiophile audience. If you have an expertise in any area of the audio world or if you know of something that should be contained in this Wiki please feel free to create the content yourself.

    Chris, I've been following your blog for a number of months now, and I think it's great!<br />

    <br />

    I was especially excited (most recently) to hear that my stupid skipping USB DAC issue on my MBP is likely resolved in the new OS X update.<br />

    <br />

    So thanks for a great blog, too!<br />

    <br />

    (Does Chris happen to twitter? I'm djthread.)
