Album of the Evening - Hyperion recordings suggestions

mkrzych
Sorry to everybody else for the OT:

Guidof posted this recently, with Isserlis again and it is on my to buy list:

Beethoven: Cello Sonatas - CDA67981/2 - Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) - Hyperion Records - MP3 and Lossless downloads

There's a free download track that sounds really good.

Isserlis another time with Bach: one of my favorite versions of the Cello Suites:

Bach: Cello Suites - CDA67541/2 - Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) - Hyperion Records - MP3 and Lossless downloads

Very funky format with 20 bit, I have redbook only.

Another pretty safe bet on Hyperion is Angela Hewitt. She's well known for her Bach, but I can also recommend some others:

Bach: The Well-tempered Clavier - CDA67741/4 - Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) - Hyperion Records - MP3 and Lossless downloads

Fauré: Piano Music - CDA67875 - Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924) - Hyperion Records - MP3 and Lossless downloads

Handel & Haydn: Angela Hewitt plays Handel & Haydn - CDA67736 - Hyperion Records - MP3 and Lossless downloads

Finally, the Takazs Quartet has done some amazing stuff, e.g.

Schubert: String Quintet & String Quartet D956 & 703 - CDA67864 - Franz Schubert (1797-1828) - Hyperion Records - MP3 and Lossless downloads

There's much more. Hyperion is really a label that cares about music. Furthermore, their recordings usually sound really nice.

Back to topic:

On this, let me take a coffee break from work and listen to this, again from Hyperion:

Brahms: Complete Piano Trios - Trio Wanderer

Oh man!!! Thank you so much, and I think this will be kind of guide for any future Hyperion recordings buyers! Thanks a lot for your time again.
