This is a great thread. I just revised my setup and have been doing a lot of measurements lately, and I am telling you, it is far more reliable to use a mic than just your ears.

 

This is my in-room frequency response now. This is 1/3 Octave smoothed. 1/6 Oct does not look bad either, but for 'ego boosting', let me post the 1/3 Octave first! =)

 

EQ only below 100Hz with the DSPeaker 8033S-II (the Antimode 2 Dual Core is arriving tomorrow!)

 

 

btw, the measurement was done with:

Mac running Fuzzmeasure, Apogee Duet2 and a calibrated ECM8000
