Hmm, this looks serious. Some major changes at SoundCloud to try and stay afloat https://arstechnica.com/business/2017/07/soundcloud-cuts-nearly-half-of-its-staff-in-order-to-stay-afloat/
I have recently become a fan of Soundcloud. There is a large collection of music from independent artists who use Soundcloud to get their music out there and I have been using my desktop and phone to stream audio. Earlier today I was looking to send the stream to my main audio rig but for the life of me could not figure out a way to go about it. Is there anyone on here who can help? My setup consists of a W10 headless machine (AudioPC) which is connected over USB to my DAC. I use Remote Desktop to control the AudioPC via ethernet using my desktop machine or via my Android phone. My best shot was to run Soundcloud on my AudioPC web browser but that ended sending the audio stream back to my desktop machine. I tried using the JRiver WDM driver to capture the audio stream but for some reason the WDM driver does not show up in my AudioPC's audio devices list. On checking with JRiver, I found that a few others were having the same problem. Still trying to get JRiver WDM to work but no luck so far. Put differently, how do I get my AudioPC browser to stream the audio to my USB DAC instead of back to my desktop? Thanks in advance!
