About Me

  1. Due to some reconfiguration in my system, I have 2x LPS-1.2 units that are surplus to my needs. Both are in excellent condition, and come with all original packaging and accessories. Price: $360 each if bought individually, $700 the pair. Payment: PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle Shipping: Free shipping to Continental US, international buyers pay actual shipping.
  2. THE JENSEN HAS SOLD. All of the items below are for sale individually or as a whole package. I am changing my system configuration to XLR cabling and no longer have need for these items. 2 Rothwell -10db attenuators: $30 (approx. $45 new) 2 Rothwell -15db attenuators: $30 (approx. $45 new) If you buy both sets: $55, total, plus shipping. Description from Rothwell: A high quality device to reduce signal levels to give a better range on the volume control, to increase headroom, or to improve signal to noise ratio. These are our most famous product with thousands sold all over the world. =========================================================================================================== 1 Jensen CI-2RR very high quality two channel ground isolator with two 12" Mogami RCA cables. Approx. 1 year old. The Jensen isolators do not use any power. Simply rca in, rca out. $105 plus shipping (will include the 12" cables). Was $199, new. Description from Jensen: The Iso•Max CI-2RR is a passive two channel audio ground isolator designed to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops in the most demanding audio systems. Eliminates hum and buzz caused by ground loops Extended frequency response from 10 Hz to 40 kHz Less than 2° phase deviation at 20 Hz Plug and play easy to use – no power required The unbalanced stereo design begins with gold RCA connectors to ensure optimal signal transfer. These are housed in a rugged steel enclosure that is fitted with screw-down flanges for easy installation in racks, under shelves or attached to cabinetry. The magic inside comes from two high performance Jensen Transformers that deliver pristine audio from 10 Hz to 40 kHz with less than 1 dB of deviation, less than 0.05% harmonic distortion and less than 2° phase shift at all frequencies. The transformer is shielded in a MuMETAL® can to protect against external magnetic fields and prevent “spectral contamination” due to ultrasonic and RF interference. This assures your music will be faithfully delivered without distortion, coloration or artifact no matter what the program material or signal level. These features makes the CI-2RR the perfect choice for 2 channel audiophile systems, home theater, Hi-Z recording sound cards, car audio and any other unbalanced audio signal. Or, purchase all of the above(attenuators plus isolator) for $150 plus shipping. Paypal accepted.
  3. Another item tucked away in my audio trove of unused parts. This the 12 AWG cord at 1.5 meter length. It is pretty flexible for its size. $85 + $10 shipping via USPS domestic.
  4. I have a Sonore Signature Rendu SE with Tier 1 upgrades in perfect condition for sale. Cost with upgrades, extra FO transceivers and FO cable was $3,745 my price is $2,995 and that includes shipping and PP fees. Best digital front end and I have been through the SoTM trio and the Auralic G1 & G2. Save a few hundreds bucks and get the best sound ever. Selling because I will be moving soon and need to downsize my entire system. Message me with any questions.
  5. Up for sale is an Uptone USB Regen with AQVOX USB Cable and Mean Well power supply. The only marks I could find were on the input side of the Regen. I have used it in my headphone setup for about a year and was functioning perfect when I removed it form the setup. Asking $100 Shipping is a flat $9 to anywhere inside the USA. Ask me about International Shipping. I accept Paypal, Credit Cards, Zelle, Cashier's Checks or Money Orders. When Cashier's Checks or Money Orders are used, the item will ship once the C.C. or M.O. clears. Please add 3% to the total when PayPal or Credit card payment is used. International Shipping: When I ship International I am not responsible for any loss/damage during shipping and any Customs duties/fees/charges/taxes. Please check with your local customs office about anything related to the import of this item.
  6. I'm selling a Phasure Blaxius^2 Digital cable. This is a 75Ω BNC-terminated S/PDIF cable, and is supplied with a set of true 75Ω BNC-RCA adapters. I've used a pair of these for the dual BNC interconnection between Chord Hugo M Scaler and DAVE. These are wonderful sounding cables, and I'm only selling because I was struck by the dreaded curse of upgrade-itis! I've used it for approx 500 hours. 7. For sale is one single Blaxius^2 digital S/PDIF 75 ohm BNC cable, 32 inches in length from tip to tip. This is the "JSSG360"-able, adjustable shield, digital cable that is famously discussed in this thread here at AudiophileStyle. From my experience of how rigid this cable is built, you need about 12 inches of space behind your components and vertically between them. This cable is about three months old and have at least 300 hours on them. The cable comes with the printed instruction sheet provided by Phasure and the caps for tuning. These cables are every bit as good as people report, and tweak-able to your heart's content. I am simply upgrading to a ridiculously expensive Transparent Audio cable, and so my loss is your gain! Priced as new: US$650 My (new, lower) price: US$300 Terms: PayPal Shipping: Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance. I'll pay PayPal.
  8. This is a pretty mint specimen of the Pass Labs 85 lb class A amplifier conservatively rated at 30 WPC. It can heat up a small house no problem so you not only get get great SQ but heat recovery in form of space heating at the same time. Since shipping would would be insanely expensive I am hoping for local pickup here in San Diego, CA. I have the original inner box and all packing materials. New retail is around $6,000 so I am asking $3,500 as mine is like new and has very light use. Thank you for looking.
  9. Fantastic cable in excellent condition. Invoice date 22nd of March, with booklet and box. €160 including DPD shipment to the UK, France, Germany, possibly others. PM if interested My 200+ positive trader feedback can be found on Head-Fi under the same username

  20. These babies pump. They were rated at 160 watts in ultra linear mode on the original KT90’s. These are fitted with KT120’s which are good for approximately 200 watts. (The amps can be switched to triode mode internally with a corresponding halving of power. I’ve always preferred listing to them in UL; your mileage may vary.) The De Luxe amps were streets ahead of the Compacts and featured premium components and arguably better design, layout and construction. These were made with optional Cardas wiring too (see photos of rear panels). I’ve had them for about 20 years and have had amazing service from them. Sure, the tubes have been replaced (twice!), the last time a couple of years ago with matched quads of Russian Tung-sol KT120’s. The big B+ caps have been replaced too (the originals were grey, you can see in the photos that they’re now blue). I’d rate them cosmetically at 8/10 and sound 10/10. The only reason that I’m getting rid of them is that I was smitten recently by a bad case of updateitis. Given our new near compulsory staying at home, you too might be wanting to work on your couches ar$e groove while listing to your music afresh. These amps will grab your speakers by the throat and make them sing like never before. I’m also selling separately a killer matching preamp. A VTL Ultimate – VTL’s reference preamp at the time. (See separate ad.) The amps can be auditioned in Ballarat (having regard for COVID-19 physical distancing requirements apply!) but shipping could be a pain in the ar$e as these babies weigh a tonne. (Well not quite; about 19kilo’s each.) However, I can supervise a professional packing/shipping company at buyers cost. I would also consider delivering them to an address or meeting place within 100kms of Ballarat. Asking $2600 (AUS peso's) approx $1600 US
  21. This was VTL’s reference preamp. A complete dual mono design from its two power cords to separate power supplies, dual circuits, to four outputs (2 per channel). I’ve had the pre for about 5 years. It has been serviced and any components that were not to spec have been replaced. All of the tubes test at the upper end of the range. So you should get years of trouble free enjoyment from what is regarded by many as a superb piece of hifi gear. The only reason that I’m getting rid of it is that I was smitten recently by a bad case of updateitis. Given our new near compulsory staying at home, you too might be wanting to work on your couches ar$e groove while listing to your music afresh. This pre will let you discover nuances that you didn’t know were in the recordings and deliver a real sense of timber and realism to the instruments that you’re listening too. I’d rate it cosmetically at 7.5/10 and sound at 10/10. See the photo’s. While the model number indicates a MM phone stage, you’ll see that there’s an input marked MC. You’ll also see twin rotary switches near the phono inputs. These provide for capacitance matching on a MM cart. A true audiophile classic. It can be auditioned in Ballarat, Australia (having regard for COVID-19 physical distancing requirements apply!). Ideally pick up from here. However, I can supervise a professional packing/shipping company at buyers cost. I would also consider deliver to an address or meeting place within 100 kms of Ballarat. Asking $2500 Australian peso's (About $1540 US) I’m also selling separately a pair of VTL De Luxe 160 mono blocks. (See separate ad.)

  24. Up for sale is an Allo USBridge Audiophile USB Audio Output Model: USBridge Type: Music Streamer/Bridge Voltage: 100-240V 50/60Hz GUI Operating System: DietPi and Allo Condition: 8/10: it has a little sticker residue in 2 barely noticable spots on 2 sides. Functionality: The USBridge was tested and functions as intended. No. of Owners: 2 Age: 2 years Tobacco/Pet Free: Yes Repair History: None Included are: USBridge micro SD card Power Supply (I will send the Manual and other info by email) No Original Packaging Description: Every DAC needs a source. For USB input we created the USBridge. So why not use a cheap laptop, RPI or even Sparky as a USB transport? Well you can, but they all have some limitations. First, laptops are noisy... very noisy. On USB we usually see spikes at 100mV of noise. That will have an impact on sound system. How about RPI? RPIs are great and very energy efficient, but on USB they have 2 major flaws. First is that bandwidth is shared between the 2 USB ports (so in fact there is only one USB), and second is that ethernet is also shared on same bus! Of course, you also have the noise on USB at about 60mV. Maybe Sparky? The 2 USB ports (next to the ethernet port) share one input to the CPU (split by a hub). Noise on USB bus is about 27mV (pretty good) and ethernet is completely apart (bus is not shared). So it's ok, but not great. So we developed a new board that is connected to the bottom of Sparky. Sparky has 2 independent USB controllers (2 highways), and we connect to the second one. Then we use a new USB IC that reclocks the stream using hi quality NDK Oscillators, and everything is powered by independent LDOs and hi frequency filters. The final noise of the USBridge is lower than the noise of a battery. I am asking $99.99 Take advantage of No Payments and 0% Interest for 6 Months with PayPal Credit.
