  1. Now I finally found a solution to extract SACD ISO files on the fly. No need for Terminal, or the SACD-Xtract software... I just use AudirvanaPlus … This cool software has ALL I NEED!!!!!! There is an option: "Add Files To iTunes" in AudirvanaPlus. Be sure first to uncheck the two boxes in the iTunes Prefs->Advanced: "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" and "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library". I then drag my ISO file to the new opened window, set the "Quality of the proxy files to "Uncompressed" and whushhhh…. AudirvanaPlus extracts, and converts all the files I need. And adds them to iTunes too When finished, remember to tick the two boxes in iTunes again. Hours, or even weeks of conversion are just done within minutes now. Best Regards KK
  2. I am setup on a wireless Mac system consisting of the following: Mac Mini using Snow Leopard; Macbook Pro using Lion; Mac Time Capsule; iPad Mini and iPod Touch. i use iTunes 11 on all. My Mac Mini is being used strictly as a music server and is connected directly to my stereo system. I use my macbook pro as my everyday computer but it also has my iTunes library on it. My music consists of uncompressed CD rips as well as hi-rez files. I have Home Sharing enabled on each computer/device. I like to keep the same library on each computer and looking for the easiest way to do this. Due to some issues I've encountered transferring files (copy and paste) through my home sharing network, I usually rip to each computer separately. This is a major inconvenience. It would be great to have a way of it automatically and wirelessly updating one computer as music files/CD's are added to the other computer much the way iCloud works. When I initially set things up, I had my iTunes library on one computer and copied the whole works over to the other using an ethernet cable connected between computers. This worked well, but I prefer not having to do that each time I add a new CD to my library. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. Hi Guys - Here is the official CA iTunes 11 thread. The previous thread discusses more about the pre release issues. Let's keep this thread to post release issues or experiences with iTunes 11.
  4. The problem: I have a computer (mac mini) collection of music (iTunes). And the quality of audio or CD, or Hi-Res (24bit and 96,176,192 kHz). Previously, syncing to your iPhone, exhibited in iTunes option: compress up to 256 kb/s AAC and successfully sync songs, regardless of the quality of the audio. After the change of the iPhone 4 on the 5th with 64GB memory (especially taking the maximum memory) decided to sync music without compression. With songs CD format questions from iTunes did not have - they fly flew to the smartphone. But the timing of music Hi-Res an error (type not supported audio format). Well, I did and was not going to drive to iPhone music in Hi-Res resolution. I thought it recoded in 16/44 machine gun ... But bummer. My question is: Is there a program or what other manufacturers, which hooks when synchronizing music with such files and converts them to the quality of CD? As an analogue of the joint participation, give an example of interaction iTunes and Audirvana which intercepts iTunes played out of his (iTunes'a) collection songs and puts them through it, according to his (Audirvana's setting) conversion and output. P.S. Sorry for my bad english... :-)
  5. Hello, I would like to know if I am the only one having issues accessing their music files since upgrading to ITunes 11. Prior to upgrading I had over 2.3TB’s of music and now it is showing that I have 1.98TB’s of music. I now get the dreaded ‘dead link’ warning, even though the files are still in the Itunes library and I have to point it to the file. This is extremely cumbersome because of the volume off affected files. I have all the files stored on a Synology 411+. I even tried starting a new library and adding the music files but some files are getting copied over and are not showing up in the library. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what is the fix? Is there one? I am unable to restore to a previous point because none of the files are store on my Mac Mini. Thanks, Jason
