17,1 iMac, 10.12.6, iTunes 12.6.2, I have two audio short stories (1+4 or 5 audio files). Both are written by Ernest Hemingway. Both are read by different readers. They were originally audio files, and have been converted to M4A ACC iTunes files. Author, Composer, are the same. Genre is Audiobook. Media Kind is Audiobook. The only things different are the Chapter titles, and the Title of the two stories. I cannot get them to SORT together, in iTunes GRID mode. I have defined both as Audiobooks, both are SORT: Hemingway, Ernest. I try to sort all audiobooks by the author's last name. Most audiobooks sort, but I cannot get the story made of 4 files to sort w other Hemingway audiobook. I have a lot of audiobooks, and all of them sort by author, except one. Quitting iTunes and rebooting has not corrected the database. Is there any other way to refresh iTunes so they will sort correctly by author? Or have I left something out? I don't want to trash the xlt file as I will lose my Dates Added.
