Dear fellow audio enthusiast, Today I published a first draft of mpd-monitor, a minimal load and realtime monitor of an audiostream as handled by mpd. I've got a '30s small dutch livingroom with sliding doors between front and back room. The front living/listening room is only 4x3,3 meters (see picture). With Penaudio Cenya monitors I've got a bass problem at 57Hz. This matches the full standing wave at 3,3 meters. I use ffmpeg equaliser filter while transcoding with Minimstreamer on my DS116 NAS. I've done this before. It works quit well when adjustments are done by ear. This time I decided to do a good job and did a sound sweep with Dayton Audio iMM-6 measurment microphone and AudioTool. I'm still an audiophile when I watch TV. And my computer is now by best source for ripped movies too since I am back to the future with a Kuro 500 Plasma TV (that doesn't have the capability to process my Blu-Ray remuxes) I could do with the included in IINA (new os x player based on mpv) eQ but I want better. However I must confess I have not been able to write a correct syntax to get IINA trigger FFmpeg afir that would convolve the IR filters I have designed for HQplayer. Anyone can help?
