Here's an interesting one. Acoustic Sounds Super HiRez has a DSD Download of Diana Krall's new album Turn Up The Quiet available for $24.98 as a Stereo DSD64 purchase. It's one of their top sellers. However, when you get the DSD Download, it turns out to be a Stereo DSD128 download (!) A nice bonus - unless you don't have DSD128 playback in your setup. http://store.acousticsounds.com/d/126125/Diana_Krall-Turn_Up_The_Quiet-DSD_Single_Rate_28MHz64fs_Download
Hi guys, with the latest Davaar (4.60.193 and 4.60.192) Linn does support DSD up to DSD128 with Klimax DS Katalyst. My question: Has someone tried to stream DSD128 with Audirvana 3.1 to the DS Katalyst? If this is possible it would be very interesting to compare PCM streamed to the DS vs. PCM converted by Audirvana to DSD128 streamed to the DS. Please be so kind to report your findings. Thank you. Matt
Has anybody purchased this? I have one of the tracks (Black Beauty) from a sample compilation by DSDfile (in dsd128) and it is absolutely stunning. A wonderful Ellington tune with amazing SQ. I wonder if the other tracks on the album are similarly great because if they are, I definitely want the whole album.
