In AO 3.00 the ServiceTool's DriverHelper brings a new sub-module -> Install HD-Audio drivers. If you follow this procedure before you install your DAC driver chances are very high that you will have to install it only once and no longer have to uninstall and reinstall it. Also, if you are facing issues with driver signature enforcement (you have to press F8 and disable driver signature enforcement on each boot), this will help your DAC driver to get working at all and also remove the need to press F8 and disable driver signature enforcement on each boot. Before you can use this feature, you have to press F8 during boot and disable the driver signature enforcement manually, this needs to be done only one time but it is absolutely crucial you do it before you run the Install HD-Audio drivers feature. Once booted you have to launch ServiceTool, then choose the DriverHelper and then select "Install HD-Audio drivers". Once you started the installation you must be prompted 4 red windows warnings about the installation of unsigned drivers. If and only if you see these 4 warnings and accept them, the HD audio drivers will be correctly installed. You do not need to press F8 again on the following boots, it's just for that one boot before you use that feature. If you cannot get it to work, disable the Secure Boot feature in your BIOS/UEFI! Enjoy it, AudioPhil

allright, having a quiet summer this year, I finally bought an RPI (4B) to replace my 10 year old Mac mini as a NAA. As I am being relatively new to Linux, it has been an interesting project. As of this moment, I’m stuck with no driver for the Mytek 192 DSD. There is a guide online for compiling your own, but I’m a bit stuck at loading the firmware/driver guide by lintweaker: https://github.com/lintweaker/mytekusb2 1 will this guide still work or am I beating a dead horse?

Hello Audiophile Friends, I upgraded my PC and accordingly I considered to upgrade to Windows 10. Unfortunately, ARC said that my DAC8 is incompatible with W10 and a hardware update is required. The price is 1000$ for the update. Consequently I downgraded to W8.1 Pro which is confirmed by ARC as a compatible Windows version. On their web site there is only one USB Driver which, I assume, is compatible with all current and past ARC USB DACs. Technical support did not clarify this point. However it appears that the driver is not compatible with W8.1 Pro neither. When I connect the DAC via USB 2.0 ports DAC8 can be seen as listed in the devices list of the OS however the driver cannot be updated. Briefly, has someone got an idea about the problem? Is it a driver, OS or port issue? Can somebody provide the old driver that I stupidly did not keep (believe me, I keep and backup everything!). Can Windows 7 fix the issue? Thank you.

Hi, i startet to install the server 2016 on a single pc in core modus. Then I started to run the audiophile Optimizer to get into the device manager with the by AO created command. Everything was fine. My problem ist the rme driver. I tried to install before running AO, after running AO, I booted and preesed F8 to take out the driver signature. The result in these steps were different. Sometimes the RME driver could not be installed, sometimes he was installed, but I had a exclamation mark in the device manager, and now there is a question mark after another tries. Also the firmware could now be fixed. Windows can not determine that the rme is a USB Sound Card because the description above the RME in the device manager is stated ( && system 32.....) Tidal also doesn´t find the rme. How can i solve the problem?

Anyone successfully installed a graphics driver on Caps V3 (Intel DN2800MT) motherboard ? There are no Windows 8 graphic drivers for those boards available AFAIK. I tried installing the supplied Win 7/32 driver - it installed just normal, but then I noticed that it makes the system crash when choosing some default desktop apps (like weather for example). JRiver or Youtube (even at 1080p) works just fine with that driver. I tried reinstalling the system twice (to find out what driver causes the system to crash). On a generic Win 8 graphics driver (no DN2800MT graphics driver installed) eveything works just fine.

After some weeks of intensive work, I have uploaded a Linux USB2 driver for the Mytek. It's based on the USB2 driver for the Terratec 6Fire currently available in the kernel. I have adapted it to work with the Mytek. With thanks to Jesus from Sonore for getting some documentation. You'll have to compile the driver yourself, instructions can be found in the INSTALL, FIRMWARE, ISSUES and README.md files. my github repo Let me know how it works!

Hi there! I just got my Allo USB Wifi Dongle. It should be "Plug in, and start surfing! Includes easy to setup driver." Well, as a spoiled windows user, I thought it would be litterally "plug and play". However, the manual ist called "Quick_Start_Guide_for_Driver_Compilation_and_Installation" and is not at all easy for me... Can somebody help me step by step...? I don't have a screen on the USBridge, I just operate it by the allo web interface or by SSH over Putty... THANKS!
