The EITR is a new product from SCHIIT, a USB to S/PDIF converter. Schiit, never a company to ignore, make some very bold claims ... quote:- "And so, as of now, you can throw away your perfecters and hyperstreamliners and cleaners and recombobulators, and, yes, even that gold-plated yak hair USB cable. Because, as of today, USB is, well, solved.". I would be interested in simplifying the front-end of my system and replacing it with a single, do-it-all box ... and all for $179. Does anyone yet have any impressions of using the EITR and comparison to, say, a Singxer F-1 converter ?

The Artistic Fidelity Isolator plus USB-Module is probably the most enhanced and thought through USB interface I have yet come across, for sure it is for me the most revealing and sounding of such devices! This DDC strictly speaking consists of two devices: the external USB-Module (powered by the computer's USB port) and the Afi itself (powered by an external PSU). My Mac mini is connected via a short USB cable to the external USB-Module, the module is connected via three 2 meter long (!) fibre optical cables (FOCs) to the Afi which outputs the re-clocked digital audio signal via an RJ45-to-AES/EBU adapter cable to my T+A DAC8. The reason for this set-up is: a) Isolation from the computer source The one of the three fibre optical cables carrying the audio stream from the USB-Module towards the Afi has no direct electrical pathway for High Frequency (HF) noise from the computer. The USB-Module and the Afi itself are completely galvanic isolated from the computer. b) Re-Clocking The 2nd FOC from the Afi towards the USB-Module contains the new clock signal generated by high precision oscillators in the Afi - completely independant from the computer. The 3rd FOC from the Afi towards the USB-Module transmits the switching signal for each of the sampling rate family multipliers either 44.1 or 48 kHz based. The Afi itself outputs the re-clocked audio signal in the RJ45 Ethercon format hence requires an adapter cable to connect to my T+A DAC via AES/EBU port. The sonic result of this set-up is simply stunning, instruments and voices sound much more natural and organic than ever before in my set-up when having connected the mini via 2 Jitterbugs and 1 Regen Amber to the DAC8' s USB port. Yes, there is much more black and quiet background, instruments and voices can be much better separated and followed during a song. They sound as if I am in a Live performance in my living room! No artefacts, not the slightest sign of steril digital sound anymore but a much more analog presentation from a digital music source..., what a dream coming true! I am sorry for my emotions and enthusiasm here but I think I have found the ultimate USB interface for my set-up. It costs €1.220 = $1.365 incl. adapter cable - for sure not cheap - but it is in my opinion worth every €/$. View Classified Denafrips IRIS Selling a Denafrips IRIS purchased February of this year. This is an excellent USB DDC with FEMTO clocking that can handle input rates up to DSD512 and PCM up to 768K. For DSD it will output DOP DSD64 on all outputs and PCM will be rate limited to 192/24 on all outputs. I2S output can do better per manufacturer specs but this seems an add on intended for use with a Denafrips Pontus DAC or better. Selling because I jumped on the PGGB bandwagon a month ago which requires me to use 384/768 natively capable DAC's I found this a joy to use with Metrum Octave NOS DAC, would suggest that if you have a NOS DAC this is a way to get more out of it. Price $400, inclusive of shipping within the US, Paypal only manufacturers site link for more information https://www.denafrips.com/iris Seller davide256 Date 07/24/21 Price 400.00 USD Category Digital to Digital Converters

View Classified Singxer SU-1 + Sbooster Ultra I'm selling a Singxer SU-1 DDC in mint condition. It is still one of the best DDC in its price range, especially when used with a good linear power supply. Optionally I can sell an Sbooster Ultra MKI 5V linear power supply and the connection kit for the SU-1. I'm providing original boxes to both the Singxer and the Sbooster. The Singxer is in a rare silver color (you cannot find it / buy it anymore). The price of the SU-1 is 220 USD, additionally the Sbooster would cost 200 USD. Buyer pays shipping and PayPal fees. It is shipping from Europe. Seller robi20064 Date 10/14/20 Price 220.00 USD Category Digital to Digital Converters

Item is Sold. my mint condition Matrix X-SPDIF 2 DDC for $260 + $12 shipping in the continental US. I have searched high and low for the original white box but can’t locate it. It does come with the included usb cable though. I’m only selling it because my Gustard U16 has a master clock input which I hook my Mutec REF10 to. I will say that it definitely outperformed my modded SU-1 running off a UpTone LPS 1.2, and it sounds great using the LPS 1.2 as a power source.
