Asking for some help from the collective... I've just set up a PK100, and am using a windows laptop to control with the Cantata client. I can't seem to get Cantata MPD client to configure to find my cover art. My setup is an external USB harddrive connected to the Auraliti PK100, and I've got a dedicated wireless router for access to the PK100. On the external drive, the music is in a folder: Music/FLAC/<artist name>/<album>/<tracks> Within each album folder, along with the flac music files, is a Folder.jpg image which is the cover art. Cantata can find and play all the music no problem. But I can't configure to see cover art. (Not the end of the world, hearing the music is 95%, but would be nice when browsing....) Can anyone describe how I am supposed to setup Cantata that it will display cover art as found in each FLAC music folder on my hard drive that is connected to the MPD server on the PK100? I have gone to the configure tap, and gone to the files and specified Folder as the cover art name. Doesn't work. (Note: I don't use bonjour, but I configure Cantata to see the PK100 by specifying the IP address, which I fixed on my network as the PK100 is the only device on this local wireless network. i.e. 192.168.1.109) Thank you in advance.

I had a squeezebox touch that was connected to a MF M1Dac So I am looking for a replacement for the squeezbox .. But .. maybe I can replace the M1Dac with M1Clic than I might have the streamer I’m looking for + the Dac in one unit. Another option for me is to leave my MF M1DAC as is and buy a Bluesound Node, but I find no comparison about the audio quality between these two possibilities The only thing I know is that the Bluesound (on ipad app) will give me Internet radio stations that cover image imparting played song or album Example: http://radioparadise.com/m3u/mp3-192.m3u Another thing is that cover-art coming from ripped flac files on Nas can be increased does anyone have experience with this

This is my first post here so please bear with me. I have just upgraded my rather elderly iMac G5 with a new MacBook Pro. While I am very computer literate and an audiophile, I have a frustrating problem with iTunes. I imported my iTunes library from a backup disc - the G5 had expired - and while all my iTunes purchased music was fine, all my imported CDs lost the track, album name, artist and cover art data. I had ripped the CDs as full WAV files for quality rather than compressing them. iTunes says I need to reimport the CDs as they weren't imported by iTunes. They were. Fortunately, I haven't really used iTunes much so there are only about a dozen CDs that I would have to reimport. But that's about to change as I plan to buy an asynchronous link for my DAC, rip all my CDs and use my new laptop as a music server to my main system. So I am rather hoping to avoid having this problem again in the future. Of course, it may be that Apple would rather I buy all my music from them to ensure future compatibility. I hope not. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Since I purchased a new MBP 15" with OSX 10.8.2 and iTunes 10.7, the finder does not show anymore the embedded cover art. It looks like I am not the only one with that issue: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19104424#19104424 For the migration of the music files, I made a conversion from iTunes 8.2. Quick look shows all icons correct except for music files. Now it shows the icon of the default audio editor I selected. Does someone of you know an easy fix for this? THANKS
