Past September 1st, I received an e-mail from Bowers & Wilkins with a zenital pic of a loudspeaker and a date: September 6th. Today I have seen that CM series prices are lower than past week. It seems that there is a new CM series on its way, or perhaps a new brand new series. We'll see.

Hi, We moved house about a year ago and new lounge is huge (20ft x 30ft). i have a naim Uniti Qute and NAP100 paired to B&W PM1s. All great in the old lounge as tiny room with carpet and lots of furnishings and we sat reasonably close to the speakers. In the new lounge - not so good. i have a NaimQB in the far corner to fill the room as the media unit and the PM1 speakers are offset to the right of the fireplace (wooden floor, which will be carpeted soon). i also use a Rega Apprentice with a decent cartridge. Its all been mostly fine at lower levels until we played some vinyl at volume after auditioning my mates naim separates and Royd speaker set up the night before. We both agreed that my system sounded fine, quick, lots of detail in high end and mid range but lacked bass and instrument sound separation wasn’t really there (which I generally like). I’m really loathed to change the speakers as they look great/unique and cost £2k. Adding a subwoofer would add the bass but not sure which to go for? I also have tight shelf space in the media unit, so a square SW not ideal. Not sure I have the budget for an NDX and NAP upgrade. My friend thinks floorstanders are the answer which may be an option if I can find some which are suitably aesthetic and unique looking. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I guess my budget for any upgrade of any sort would be about £3k. Many thanks

Hi, I was visiting the Bowers & Wilkins website. I was reading the contents on 700 S2 Series and I wonder if there are sonic differences between 705 S2 and 706 S2 models. After reading the specifications, from the technical point of view, there are very few differences. The 705 S2 is more expensive than the 706 S2, so I guess there will be differences. If anybody has tested this loudspeakers, worth it pay extra money for the 705 S2 model? Thanks.
