  1. View Classified WyWires Platinum Juice II power cord HC - High Current - Furutech Retail for a 6ft one $1300 Asking $550 for one I have 5 (five) 6ft/1.8m These have upgraded more expensive (+$60) and better sounding Gold-plated Furutech plugs. It's a great opportunity for someone to change power cords for the whole system and take it to the next level. Sold my two beast mono amplifiers that required 4 (four) cables, and with my new setup, I decided to go with all next level power cords. To outperform these WyWires Platinum power cords, you would have to buy three times more expensive cords. Rare opportunity, because if you'd change all of your power cords with these absolutely identical power cords, you'll achieve the best synergy! These are burned in and will please you with great dynamics, details, and transparency. SPECS WyWire Platinum has 7 AWG Line and Neutral, 12 AWG ground, Double cotton wrapped Asymmetrical Litz wire. And all have upgraded Furutech connectors. One ~6ft/1.9m 6 Sons Audio Vision Quest with Audio Grade Gold-over-Copper connectors. Retail was $1100 Asking $450 The cable is a braided design 10 AWG combined, and it uses the copper-silver-gold alloy conductor that was very popular several years ago. This alloy gives unmatched detailed sound while keeping the heart of the music. It could be used on any component but most beneficial for source components, like DACs, Transports, Reel-to-Reel, and for Phono preamps. Please see the pictures attached. These are used cables with some wear on the prongs from normal use. Seller Anton_s0s Date 09/01/23 Price 550.00 USD Category Power Supplies / Power Products
  2. View Classified UPGRADED WyWires Diamond power cord 6ft 1.9m - Furutech FI-50 Up for sale is Diamond Juice II power cord. Sounds absolutely fantastic! WyWires Diamond series cables are among the very best in the market, and one of the high-end best kept secrets. These Diamond power cords come standard with high quality Furutech bare copper connectors. This cable for sale is a custom build made by Alex, 6ft long, with shielding and upgraded best Furutech FI-50 connectors ($800 upgrade). So, it brings the retail to whooping $4200! The cable is designed to work not only with any amp in a world but it has a great noise reduction for use with any digital component. WyWires Diamond Series is recommended for the best performance from the system. Sized appropriately for any known amplifier or source regardless of its current draw. I used to have all WyWires Platinum cables in my system, then I switched to Diamond level. I'm downsizing my system, and one Diamond power cord is now available for sale. In excellent condition, the jacket mesh is in excellent shape, no pulls, no fraying, plugs have some normal wear. Thus rated consecutively as 8/10. This is a very smooth, dynamic cable with just the right amount of detail that will expand your soundstage like not other in this price range. Pretty flexible cable, so it's easy to position even in challenging setups. My Platinum power cords with upgraded Furutech plugs are available for sale in a separate listing. I have 5 (five) 6ft-long ones. For Diamond, compared to Platinum, manufacturer says, they used additional conductors to dramatically improve dynamics, resolution, stereo imaging, and focus. The total conductor gauge is 7AWG per pole. Additionally, carbon fiber/stainless steel fittings aid in dramatically reducing the noise floor for a completely black background between notes. Highlighted Info from Wywires website: * Capacitance: 8.9 pF (per foot at a frequency of 60Hz) * 7 AWG (American Wire Gauge) per pole * Double cotton wrapped Asymmetrical Litz * Changes in shielding and ground architecture, along with the addition of carbon-infused foam, result in improved resolution, a tidier, more organized soundstage, stereo imaging stability, and better bass tones. Seller Anton_s0s Date 01/13/24 Price 1,500.00 USD Category Power Supplies / Power Products
  3. View Classified Merrill Element 114 stereo power amp Rare opportunity to buy a Merrill Element 114. Like new condition. COMES WITH THE MERRILL AUDIO DUST COVER (in the last picture amp packed wrapped in it). Element 114 became available only in 2020 - the latest design in the Element lineup. Retail $16000. This one here was used for 2 years. I have custom-made Merrill ANAP XLR interconnects. 2 pairs are available for sale. Please see my other listings. Merrill Element 114 is the best class D amp in the world! Only Element 116 and 118 could be better only because more watts. But this stereo amp could drive any speakers. It's stable down to 1 Ohm and has phenomenal power. Blew out of the water my BAT VK-655SE monoblocks (1500 VA each), Element is better in every aspect. And I didn't even change the level on my preamp. Much more musical, compared to Mola Mola Kaluga and Jeff Rowland 625 S2. Tried it against Ayre MX-R Twenty - and proved again that Ayre doesn't get the bass foundation correct. Merrill Element is the winner here. Merrill Element is faster, mids are richer, and both top and bottom ends are better. The same goes for Gryphon Diablo 300 - Elemen is better in all aspects. It’s not correct to compare them, but people read I moved from Merrill to Gryphon and make assumption that Gryphon Diablo is better than Merrill Element. In fact, Diablo 300 (their integrated amps, in general) are not even close to real Gryphon separates. DAC directly into Merrill Element (if you have volume control) would be better than any Gryphon Diablo (300/250/120). The reason for sale is expensive Gryphon class A amp. TECHNOLOGIES Two secret ingredients for success are: GaN transistors and unique power supply. For the ultimate in musical immediacy, a proprietary multi-stage power supply using an LLC Resonant power supply with custom-built transformers is implemented in Element 114. The amplifier has a bottomless, instantaneous power supply and the ability to keep sustained peaks for longer periods of time. Gallium Nitride Transistors are one of the cleanest, fastest transistors available today! They offer a fast, clean, low distortion power capability and yet are natural and smooth in its musical capability. GaN transistors dramatically outperform other transistors because they can turn on and off almost instantly, and they avoid the charge and discharge times associated with channel/gate capacitance. They can switch hundreds of volts in nanoseconds. This, in turn, negates the need to compensate for any distortion or deadtime, thereby making the use of negative feedback unnecessary. Merrill Element bested many class AB amplifiers, including Ayre, Simaudio Moon Evolution, and McIntosh. Wyred 4 Sound or Bel Canto vs Merrill Element is like boombox vs Hi-end system, like 2D vs 5D movie. Well regarded Merrill Veritas monoblocks are somewhere in the middle, but not even close to Element tonal richness and depth wise. Element 114 has the same great bottom-end and dynamics as the best class AB amps out there, but with better microlevel detail, tonal purity and balance, and bass definition. Microlevel details are easily distinctive even at low volume levels, where you usually have to crank a solid-state amp up to hear these details. Smashing clarity with fantastic quickness and parsecs of transparency…and yet a sense of organic presence and rightness. The micro- and macrodynamics are amazing. Breathtaking suddenness of musical swings! Featuring: - custom 6-layer Printed Circuit Boards capable of eliminating all but the minutest amounts of parasitic inductance and capacitance - the circuit design is proprietary - all wire is heavy gauge silver plated OFC, in PTFE sleeving, and is hand-soldered for the best connections. 6. View Classified Balanced Audio Technology VK-200 - BAT Power Amplifier - 100 Watts/Ch Here is an awesome power amplifier from Balanced Audio Technology - the VK-200. New cost $3595. Buyer pays shipping and fees. It features a fully balanced circuit that has a power output of 100 watts/ch into 8 ohms. But a power rating of a huge 1200VA says that it has much more juice! I had a chance to compare it to Bryston. Bryston 4b SST has the same 1200VA rating, but it rated as 300 wpc.. looks like BAT measures three times as more conservative than Bryston 😃 Even though Bryston 4b SST is highly sought after, BAT VK-200 performs better in every aspect: deeper and more controlled bass, more transparent and wider soundstage, more musicality overall and more balanced sound. And all these benefits are due to MOSFET technology. It's the best of two worlds: tunes and solid state. Rear about it for yourself. This unit is in very good cosmetic condition and works perfectly. The only flaw - is in the picture attached: one little scuff. Please see pictures attached as they are a part of the description. It comes with a stock power cord. The package is not original, but with foaming and safe for shipping even to Mars. Specifications Power output: 100 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo) Power rating 1200 VA Frequency response: 2Hz to 200kHz Gain: 25 dB Input sensitivity: 1.6V Dimensions: 18" x 19" x 7" Shipping Weight: 70lb Seller Anton_s0s Date 03/14/21 Price 10.00 USD Category Amplifiers
