  1. I had an M5 in my system and it sounded better than the Aurender N100H. Best of all is the DCS Network Bridge which I now use.
  2. The very same thing happened to me. I had to reinstall J River & Foobar. J River works fine but Foobar will not.
  3. I share the same results with Plissken. In addition the sound stage is somewhat deeper. Try it you'll like it.
  4. I have not found a solution. As a matter of fact the software was not functioning well at all and I ended up becoming annoyed. I canceled my subscription. All of this was very disappointing because I enjoyed many of their selections. I may try it again sometime in the future.
  5. I can listen to Classics Online through my computer with my headphones and the little Audioengine DAC. My question is, how can I listen through my stereo system other than by USB? I have Windows, JRiver and a PS Audio DSD with bridge.
  6. I believe that your custom views will have to be reconfigured. After you uninstall it you should have the file that you downloaded somewhere in your computer where you keep your downloads. You can install it from there by double clicking on it. I did not need a new registration key.
  7. There are those forum members that are far more knowledgeable than I am but I recently had a problem with JRMC and it was solved by uninstalling and reinstalling it. This could be the first thing to try
  8. This discussion reminds me of a high end dealer that I used to buy from. To him there were flaws in any line that he did not carry. He asked me which speakers that I had. When I told him ( they were highly praised in reviews) his response was "They are not very accurate speakers." My response was simply that maybe he could advise me as to the most accurate sounding concert halls.
  9. I am 78 and have in the past seven to eight years upgraded various components in my system and will continue to do so. I do this for three reasons. 1. I can afford it and realize that i cannot take it with me. 2. I CAN hear the improvements. 3. My son at a later time will have good equipment.
  10. I had the exact same situation and Verizon would or could not be of any help. I switched providers (Cox in my location) and "BINGO" problem solved.
  11. I had the same situation. Use the USB 2 Hub. In fact I am listening to it now as I write this using a Windows 8 64 computer.
