  1. It based only just my/our experience, our customers who want a music server would like to step forward step by step, included all parts inside. The users of music servers are different than streamers, looking for an options, new solutions, cards, processors, clocks, inside cabling etc. And every few detail matters + the audiophile IEC upgrade is not a horrible cost compared with other parts. The other reason is : at the FC10 case the full power off is not an option now (only just unplug the power cable). Furutech and other companies are making really good IEC sockets with or without fuse option and gold plated/rhodium plated versions but unfortunately not with switch option. The others on the market are very very low quality. Did you find a good quality one?

  4. Congrats Anwar! Nice idea and add flexibility for FC10 users. My preferred version will be the 1 low profile bracket and 2pcs normal bracket, hope in the near future Streacom will introduce that version too.

  6. Hi Dev, thanks for your comment. We are looking for a solution how to upgrade a card with external DC across the bracket (maybe our users can choose an option: external DC or external clock IN) The onboard dc socket wasn’t an option, it makes a degradation in SQ.

  14. Thanks :) The clock boards what we make have 2 SIN ans 3 HCMOS outputs/oscillator. And that measurement isn’t only just the oscillator’s data, it produce these parameters when it works in the PCB clock board.
  15. Yes, maybe 100kHz is true. As i sad earlier a clock designer have a choice with their clock PCB: nearest or distant noise is the most important development point for the application (or frequency accuracy etc.). That is a measurement of our 49.152 TCXO clock with FSWP:
