Thanks . Ok so in that case the Devialet can upsample the file from 16 to 24 , is that correct ?
-
Thanks Ted . I have it at 24 bits because the Dac in my Devialet is 24/192 but what I wanted to check is , is HQPlayer sending the file at its native sample rate or is it sending it upsampled to 24 bit ?
-
On the main desktop screen if you are using HQPlayer in passthrough mode with no upsampling . It says Mode:PCM Filter:none Shaper:none Limited:0. But in the next panel where the Time is , under Format: it says 44.1k/16/2 to 44.1k/24/2. Does that mean it is upsampling from 16 to 24 if so why ? when I have Filter and Shaper both set to none. Thanks Tony

What size barrel plug is on it , I already have the DSL-AC68U router . I could offer you 100 for the power supply on its own. -
Hi , can I confirm which is the best startup procedure using AO , Roonserver and Fidelizer Pro, Should the shell replacement be Roonserver and let Fidelizer Pro autostart or should the shell be Fidelizer Pro and let Fidelizer start Roonserver ? Many thanks Tony

Turning off the Air driver didn't work , I think it needs that to communicate. I'll touch base with Devialet Thanks
-
My server is in a different room to the Devialet , the server is connected to a switch. The Devialet is connected to the ethernet wall socket in the other room. I have HQplayer enabled in Roon and the Devialet Air driver selected in HQPlayer

Miska , as the Devialet Dac upsamples to 24/192 , but as you observed there is an issue with the Devialet Air Ethernet driver , should I set HQPlayer to 22bit. Or is there a better solution ? Its odd because I've never seen anyone raise the issue before
-
Miska , is there any setting in Windows or HQplayer where I can disable the driver announcing those 18, 20 and 22 bit word lengths
-
ok the devialet upsamples everything to 24/192 . Should i set the dac bits in hqplayer to 22
-
Is there a solution ? Is it a Devialet driver issue or my pc hardware issue
-
yes the lines include 16/18/20/22/24 with 44100/48000/64000/88200/96000/128000/176400/192000
-
Ok found that , it lists all the rates including 192000/24 (24)
