  1. Hi, I now have an SR Orange fuse that I can use in my SR4T. If your fuse was directional, what way round did you find the fuse worked best in the SR4T fuse holder? The SR Orange is stated as being directional but it will probably take 2-3 weeks of running-in before it will be at its best and I can start comparing for myself, once I find the time to do it.
  2. Can anyone with Paul Hynes power supplies advise me on the direction of current travel through my SR5T fuse holder. I’m trying out a new SR Orange fuse and will start by running-in with the orientation shown in attached photo. Shame PHD Ltd are no longer in business. I always found Stephen to be incredibly helpful. A minor inconvenience of course compared to those who paid money for products they will never receive.
  3. Can anyone advise on the direction of current flow through my SR5T fuse holder? I’m trying out a new SR Orange fuse and will try first the orientation shown in attached photo. No longer any PHD Ltd to ask advice from.
  4. Great to see you back on this thread, Roy. Another great post! I’ve had a DC4 powering my DAVE with great results since the beginning of the year, and I have already been in touch with Sean about likely upgrade options to an ARC6. While he can’t yet confirm, with more testing still to do, he was optimistic there would be an upgrade path. So I will be keeping a close watch for further updates. If I can have my DC4 upgraded to an ARC6, I would need to decide by then whether I would also want the internal wiring upgraded from Neotech to Mundorf. Can you say a little ab

  12. @nvitorinoHi Nuno, can you provide an update on development of the Innuos control app, and perhaps comment on the issues raised in this post on the Head-fi Chord DAVE thread regarding sound quality differences when using different control apps? Thanks. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/chord-electronics-dave.766517/post-15954517

View Classified (PRICE DROP) SOtM tX-USBultra (9V) USB Regenerator (with upgrades) (UK and Europe only sale) I am selling this highly regarded USB regenerator/reclocker because I now have a server with its own built-in reclocker, and the SOtM device is no longer getting any use. I am selling this highly regarded USB regenerator/reclocker because I now have a server with its own built-in reclocker, and the SOtM device is no longer getting any use. In fact it has had no use this year and has been boxed away since before Christmas, though I have just fired it up to check that everything is still working. The unit was bought new as a custom order from Elite Audio in April 2019. It has upgraded Evox caps, silver 7N UPOCC internal wiring, eABS-200 EMI absorber paper and 75ohm master clock input, which are the upgrades many audiophiles now order as the 'Special Edition' unit. SOtM have advised that the unit can be converted to 12V input by removing an internal jumper. The unit is in excellent condition, fully working and with no marks or scratches. It comes complete in its original box with 9V power supply, USB cable and instructions. Elite Audio (the UK dealer for SOtM) is currently selling the tX-USBultra with master clock input for £1,200. The silver internal wiring, Evox caps and eABS-200 paper upgrades would take this to around £1,400. My asking price for this lightly used unit is £900, which includes Paypal fees and free delivery to a UK address. I am mentioning the price here because I do not know how to change the currency to GBP in the 'Price' field. Please pm me if you are interested.

  17. I would be interested in the thoughts of other Statement owners on the performance benefits (if any) of separating the two boxes compared to the more convenient stack. My interest stems from my current focus on exploring relatively inexpensive ways of improving my music system’s performance by reducing the degrading affects of vibration. I listen exclusively to headphones, and so believe my priority must be draining electrical vibrations out of my system rather than dealing with structure-borne vibration, which must be negligible in my setup. I’m not sure what the feet on the S
  18. Release 1.4.5. Now available http://www.innuos.com/en/go/release-1-4-5 Seems to be mainly about providing extra support for native DSD to more dacs.
  19. Notwithstanding the title of this thread, why has there been so little discussion of the SR5/SR5T? Unlike the SR4, it has an audio-grade transformer, it provides more current, and is significantly less expensive and smaller than the SR7.
  20. I just received some cables from Ghent following a few exchanges to discuss my requirements. Replies were just as quick and helpful as they’ve always been. Ordered cables 31st May with express delivery, told they were dispatched last Friday, delivered to me in London 11am Monday morning.
  21. I have also had very good experiences upgrading power cords to my SR4-12, SR4T-19 and Super3 15v, but I have yet to try upgrading the IEC inlet. Has anyone had experience hearing a difference between standard and upgraded IEC inlets (e.g. one or other of the Furutech options) with any of these or similar power supplies?
