  1. I just ordered up a pair on Monday. Always good to support the local businesses. This will be in addition to my RSM quads I have. Luckily for me today, my snow thrower is connected to my tractor so blowing the 500’ of driveway wasn’t to bad.
  2. You should try out this image: https://dietpi.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2317 Easy to set up and many options. I use naa and squeezelite to stream Qobuz without issue.
  3. @Superdad Thanks for the quick response! I found that currently it wont work on my main rig as it is running HQP 3.x on AP 2102 R2 in core mode and is pretty much locked down. I will try it another day on my other box testing 4.x before I buy. enjoy!
  4. @Superdad How exactly did you get this to work? What version of HQP? I've created a single line .m3u8 and dragged it to hqp and it doesn't present any special track info. I've read all the posts above, but seem to be missing the exact actions you took to resolve. I also tried: hqp-control.exe controlpc http://icy-8.radioparadise.com/flac As well as the Rondo Classic station. TIA.
  5. 1. ISO Regen + LPS-1 2. Phasure Lush USB 3. HQ Player v3.19
  6. I am really enjoying my new ALEXA and the new male voice of ALEX. I find it gives clearer direction and never interrupts me when I am talking.
  7. Support our local guys: https://alclair.com/monitorshop/studio4/ Stop in and listen to the lineup. Marc is really nice to deal with.
  8. The classic wife beater shirt works just fine here.
  9. @manisandher You can add the T+A dac 8 dsd to the list. Sounds great @ DSD 512.
  10. Franatic, I used the i2s via OR5. You can search this tread with my userid for more info. I posted about not getting DSD because of OR5, but I believe that I was able to get it using DOP up to DSD64. The i2s input at the time was superior in SQ and believe it may still be, but with all your USB thingies now days that may be a wash. You can look me up on jPlay site as well - I may have posted more there under the same user id. If you need more info, let me know. also fyi: http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f6-dac-digital-analog-conversion/wyred-4-sound-dac2se-upgrade-revisited-and-findings-best-decision-unequivocally-16266/index36.html#post305485

  14. I also have that mic. Make sure to read a couple exellent articles from mitchco: http://www.computeraudiophile.com/blogs/mitchco/speaker-room-calibration-walkthrough-173/ http://www.computeraudiophile.com/blogs/mitchco/importance-timbre-sound-reproduction-systems-222/ REW Guide: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/78476446/REW%20101%20HTS%20Current%20Version.pdf Gain matching is in the REW guide as well as: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/78476446/MiniDSP%202x4%20Set-Up%20Guide%20Latest%20Version.pdf Minimal eq in REW: http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/rew-forum/6818-minimal-eq-target-levels-hard-knee-house-curve-long.html I use the house curve mentioned in the mitchco article above(from Bob Katz): target response of flat to 1 kHz, and using 1 kHz as a hinge point, straight line to -6 dB at 20 kHz.
