  1. The DAC chip is supposed to have those pins bridged. I have the same board. Would love the schematic. I would to take out the opamps and slide in a tube output. Not sure what tubes yet. Maybe 6N6pi or 12SN7s. Have to see what I can work out.
  2. Reread the post. I would try the coax inputs until I was able to lock a signal. What is your source? Have you tried different ones?

    HQ Player

I struggle with that a lot using Roon and HQPlayer. I have used a Cubox with the custom image, a Raspberry Pi and a Dell Windows 10 based computer. Each one of them had issues when I powered down my DAC (I use a DAC with an Amanero board). Without fail, if I turned the DAC off (even after hitting pause on ROON and waiting 15 seconds before shutting down), it would not restart without me shutting down the NAA, restarting the NAA and then relaunching HQplayer on my server (which is under the bed in my bedroom). It caused me to tear my hair out. I had mildly more success with the Dell Window
  4. It is a Win 10 computer. I have no access to Win 7 as I bought this as it was bought new. So, back to the drawing board I guess. LattePanda would be a cool choice to do this in the future. If W10 works.
  5. Any help would be appreciated. The NAA loses connection and then dies. Again, any help would be appreciated: This is what it says when it crashes: 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Play + 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Playback engine running 2016/06/10 10:27:30 No suitable output rate for 44100, stop 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Parallel threads: 8 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Nested parallelism: 0 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Parallel pipelines: 4 - 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Playback engine stopped & 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Pause & 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Play + 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Playback engine running 2016/06/10 10:27:30 No
  6. My NAA drops out for no reason. 7. Finally getting back to troubleshooting. If I pause or skip a song, NAA and the computer stop playing nice. Maybe it is the Amareno ASIO driver? See below. When operating correctly, NAA says: [C:\Users\Shawn\Desktop\networkaudiod.exe] (680): ASIO Technology by Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. [C:\Users\Shawn\Desktop\networkaudiod.exe] (680): connection from [::ffff:192.168.1.5]:50737 [C:\Users\Shawn\Desktop\networkaudiod.exe] (680): Set channels: 2 (2) [C:\Users\Shawn\Desktop\networkaudiod.exe] (680): ASIO drivers: 2 [C:\Users\Shawn\Desktop\networkaudiod.exe] (680): Found ASIO dr
  8. 3.4 is what I am using. I cannot find the log file on the NAA. Where do I find it. This is what it says when it crashes: 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Play + 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Playback engine running 2016/06/10 10:27:30 No suitable output rate for 44100, stop 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Parallel threads: 8 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Nested parallelism: 0 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Parallel pipelines: 4 - 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Playback engine stopped & 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Pause & 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Play + 2016/06/10 10:27:30 Playback engine running 2016/06/10 10:27:30 No suitable output rat
  9. Had the CuBox as an NAA for a while. It was requiring me to reboot it each time I shut off my Dac (regardless if HQPlayer was playing or not (HQPlayer is on a decked out Windows 10 Server) and I wanted to use direct DSD/ASIO drivers. I installed those for the Amanero Combo384 (the one on their website (which is a bit old)). I also installed runtime on the Dell (also Win 10), and turned on the private network function. I set the NAA to start on startup. So I can get the NAA program to start when it starts. Then I can start Roon/HQPlayer in the other room. I get the Server to play a song

    HQ Player

I guess the LampizatOr doesn't do that.

    HQ Player

I should clarify that I use Roon. Maybe that is the issue? Again, it worked with my MAC when I didn't use an NAA. Now I am using my iPhone to select music on the Roon App. It goes like this: Server under bed in bedroom running Roon + HQ Player. It is always on. Network connected to CuBoxi (in living room) via wired cables. CuBoxi always on (connected to my home brew LPS) and running latest Linux CuBox image from Signalyst. USB connected to my GoldenGate DAC. GoldenGate DAC uses an Amareno 384 USB board. When the power on the Dac is cycled, the Amareno shuts completely on or
