  1. The above post was written end of Jan 2020. It's now March 2020 and nothing has changed. Emails will get a random "I'll get back to you" and then nothing. Everyone please stay clear of this guy (or if he's a front for a bunch of scammers)...
  2. @Doh I posted this on another thread that @ASRMichael started, but I'll post it here to consolidate experiences: @ASRMichael I will second your warning to anyone who is thinking of buying anything from Adrian or The Linear Solution. Originally I was set on acquiring a Sean Jacobs PSU and had been finalizing negotiations with him (great guy to deal with) after the usual delays in communication with Paul Hynes, when another forum member here convinced me to go with TLS for their "Reference One" PSU which was supposed to be a SR7 killer (or at least similar in quality for
  3. @Nenon I’m an idiot. Didn’t finish reading your post lol!! please give step by step clock mod instructions :))
  4. @Nenon the crosshair vii has bios flashback. No need for any cpu installed to flash to newest bios. I had to do it twice.
  5. @ASRMichael I will second your warning to anyone who is thinking of buying anything from Adrian or The Linear Solution. Originally I was set on acquiring a Sean Jacobs PSU and had been finalizing negotiations with him (great guy to deal with) after the usual delays in communication with Paul Hynes, when another forum member here convinced me to go with TLS for their "Reference One" PSU which was supposed to be a SR7 killer (or at least similar in quality for a significantly shorter wait). This has been the biggest mistake of my audiophile career. I was also convinced b
  6. Has anyone tried using the new StylusEP as a HQplayer "endpoint" for Roon Core yet? Again, no HQPlayer really involved, just a way to preserve Roon's library management and UI while getting the sonic advantage of Stylus. I basically cannot give up Roon's UI mostly so that the wife can stick with what she's used to, but would love to get some of Euphony's sonic advantages. I'm running Audiolinux now and would pay for a license if this StylusEP/HQplayer endpoint feature works (again without HQPlayer, just with Roon). I have a lot of DSD128 and DSD256 albums that I listen to a lot - t
  7. @shahed99 any updates in how your 3950X build worked with HQP? I see @teera_ash had some issues with pauses that weren’t there with 3700X...
  8. Hi all, Any updates on whether Euphony now supports now that just SMB1? SMB1 is a security risk that I've disabled throughout my network... that would be a big negative for Euphony if SMB1 is the only version it supports... Thanks!
  9. Weird. So every time I reboot on kernel 5.2.0 I have to manually reactivate Ethernet using up link set up enp2s0. That is very strange. @hifi25nl
  10. Never mind. Just had to do a manual activation of the Ethernet. Strangely it was set to off.
  11. Has anyone updated to the 5.2.0rt1 bfq kernel? I’ve done this twice and it kills my Ethernet port... no lights on Ethernet and I lose network connection after update. @hifi25nl any thoughts?
  12. @luisma Thanks for your suggestions. I will try this! I also updated the AL menu and all other components as well as the kernel. HQP still not seeing NAA reliably at all. Yeang
  13. Yes, what I meant was the update was successful. But it did not help the NAA connection problem
  14. @luisma the only blacklist i have in /etc/modprobe.d is blacklist snd_hda_intel I will try rebooting with this commented out.
  15. tried updating to newest kernel, no luck. @luisma here's the output you requested: [[email protected] ~]# networkctl IDX LINK TYPE OPERATIONAL SETUP 1 lo loopback carrier unmanaged 2 eno1 ether routable configured 2 links listed. [[email protected] ~]# ip addr show 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN group default qlen 1000 link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo valid_lft forever
