I have been a JPlay user for over 5 years. And the latest Femto version is by far the best player, I have expirienced in my system.
support is very good, and JPlay forum is full of helpful members too. 😀

JazzDoc2 and Felipe, you guys have me run out of my words.  I’m totally, completely and absolutely echoing your opinions.  What significant about your wonderfully well said words is that, they are from JD a deeply knowledgeable musicologist and a veteran musician and Felipe a passionate, talented and skillful music lover/audiophile.  Thanks to JPLAY as the highly revealing music player and its dedicated team, I’ve been honored to know you guys, with whom “hanging out” has gradually but steadily enriched my music life and spirit.  I’d only like to add that JPLAY keeps moving forward and upward with the software (dedicated remote control point that surely will sound better than the already excellent sounding BubbleUPnP), hardware (Optimo LPSU) and more on the horizon.  All I wanted to do is to prepare well to get ready to reap those benefits while continuing to enjoy the excellent SQ.

Until today, I've tried foobar2000, JRiver (several versions), Roon, Album Player, KODI, I've tried TIDAL, HySolid and several other software and operating systems (AudioLinux, Euphony, Volumio, Daphile and others). Undoubtedly, JPLAY FEMTO is the most critical in terms of synchronization and integration between hardware and software, as it requires extreme levels of latency and buffer that only the best DACs and drivers can achieve. But, once this perfect integration has been achieved (with the possibility of using the DAC Link parameter at 1000Hz and the lowest buffer and latency as possible), it's the best software player I've ever known.

Because of this criticism, I understand that not everyone will confirm my impressions, and naturally that every result is dependent on the system. In cases where the drivers and the operating system don't offer the best integration between hardware and software, it may happen that the ASIO mode is the most beneficial, which will not allow us to extract the maximum that JPLAY FEMTO can offer (with it, the best method is the Kernel Streaming). However, once verified the possibility of using the dual-PC setup, with the Hibernate mode activated, with the DAC Link at 1000Hz and in conjunction with a lightweight Windows Server 2019, running directly from the RAM, for me, is as far as I can currently go in terms of digital reproduction through computer. I've been promoting experiments for over 10 years, and I've never known any software that would approach JPLAY FEMTO in audio quality, although I recognize that Roon is the one with the best graphical interface and integration possibilities. I've never tried HQPlayer and I don't like media manipulation (upsampling and external filters). So, within my premises of keeping the files untouched, in their original format, JPLAY FEMTO has shown itself to be the best, and with good margin. This for my system and my ears.
