The JCAT Net Card Femto changed my entire perception and enjoyment of listening to music emanating from a digital computer source. This is one of the biggest improvements I ever made to my computer audio system. Music just becomes 'freed up', aired and natural - more real if you like. It's totally impossible to go back to my set up without the Net Card. IMHO this card is a major innovation in computer audio and I'm very grateful to Marcin Ostapowicz at JCAT because his product has allowed me to irreversibly fall in love with computer audio.

I'm using two JCAT NET Card FEMTO, one on my Windows Server 2019 Core + AO3.0 + Fidelizer8.5 + JPLAY FEMTO on my control PC and one on my audio PC with the same software configuration.

With these cards I get better soundstage with even more stability, more materialization.

Soundstage is more focused with more precision, more width, the relief and the 3D effects are improved too.

The other aspect is the improvement concerning the sound itself which is even more natural with more fluidity, better attacks, more velocity. Basses have more authority and they are more powerful but both deep and tight. The Eton 12" of my DIY speakers really appreciate.  ;)

And another remarkable thing is the purity of the sound.

Note that using only one car fistly on the control PC improve significantly SQ but using another on the autio PC adds improvement on SQ.

Like the JCAT USB Card Femto review written recently, I'd just like to express my impressions on JCAT Net Card Femto in the following bullet points:

1/.  I first put one of them on the AudioPC to replace an OCXO PPA v2 netcard and noticed the immediate  jump in SQ.  Like Gareth I found and enjoyed the increase in air, naturalness, and realism.  Bass improved as well.  It's just more musical overall.

2/. Later on when the fund alllowed, I put it on controlPC to replace an OCXO PPA V5 netcard.  Now the SQ is seriously good, JPAY FEMTO running 1000Hz DAC Link with ease, noise flood dropped further, musicality rises higher.

3/. Like the JCAT USB Card Femto purchase, you're not only buying the excellent hardware itself, you're getting a complete and continually updated set of optimization tips and techniques which further push the SQ and smooth operation.

4/. It's highly customizable and optimizable.  Using both ports or only one, powering it internally or your LPSU choices, the possibilities are many with audible differences.

5/. The man behind the JCAT products, Marcin, has always been honest, prompt in responses and shipment, offering no sugar coated advice, technically precise as his JPLAY FEMTO yet a passionate computer audiophile and music lover.  As his JCAT USB Card Femto, the JCAT netcard Femto has been designed and built by an audiophile for computer audiophiles.  Used on a singlePC or dualPC, it makes music streaming, locally or NAS or Qobuz Tidal alike, a highly enjoyable musical experience.

There it is, a first rate netcard that is reliable and solid in operation, excellent even the best out there both in sonic and musical performance.  It's hard to me to look else where.

Hello, my review done few month ago (in French) http://patatorz.com/2019/03/24/carte-jcat-net-card-femto-en-mode-bridge-un-solution-gagnante/

This review is describing the usage of the Netcard femto in bridge more under Linux.

i use this card today in my server under gentooplayer and audio-linux but also on my custom nas under openmediavault.

Even on the server (Ethernet only) the impact of this card is huge and could not do without today. What’s next ? Improved hardware ? Deep dive into Linux parameters for the card like on Windows....

anyway great work for the money.
