Very much appreciate Adrian Lebena of Sonore for encouraging me to try the Sonore USB cable in place of the Audioquest Coffee USB I've been using (quite contentedly) for the past three or four years.  The Sonore cable (list $870) and Audioquest (list $370) are at different price points, so these comments are not offered as a critique of the AQ cable, simply a comment on the gain in performance the Sonore offers in my system (Signature SE Optique file player feeding a SimAudio Moon 380 DAC).

In my system, the Sonore USB  increases the specificity of location of instruments in the soundstage and the instrument's dimensionality.  The sense of depth is enhanced. Instead of listening to well-reproduced piano notes, one hears notes emanating from a specific piano.  Similarly, with the Sonore USB, one hears the distinctive tone of the specific acoustic guitar being played in a way one doesn't with the AQ.

Because the Sonore is at a higher price point than the Audioquest Coffee, this comparison isn't a Gold Delicious to a Red Delicious, but I can't imagine that anyone with a digital chain and overall system to justify the Audioquest Coffee wouldn't hear a significant gain in presence, life, musicality by opting for the Sonore USB instead.  I didn't, I confess, think that a further investment in the USB link between player and DAC would have much impact on the musicality of my system.  I was flat out wrong about that.
