Bobbeanbags
I was ready to order a Kingston 256Gig SSD SV100S2/256GZ for $299 from buy dot com just now but I wanted to check compatibility. When I called Kingston, they said that the 2011 Mac Mini 2.3GHz did not have a serial ATA connection so I couldn't install an SSD drive in the mini. Any idea on compatible drives for the 2011 2.3GHz Mac Mini? Thanks! Link to comment
sidssp
I believe it does have a SATA connection. Have you checked ifixit.com for the hard drive upgrade instruction? Link to comment
Bobbeanbags
swapping one? I have heard that the MAC mini 2011 can accept two 2.5" drives. Thanks for the suggestion, I had never been to ifixit.com before. Link to comment
