catastrofe
For some reason (probably my ignorance), I'm getting duplicates of songs in iTunes. I downloaded some free samples from Zunior, and extracted them to "My Music". So under "My Music" I have 3 Zunior download folders, each with a number of songs. In iTunes, I selected "add folder to library" and selected one of the Zunior folders. I ended up with 2 versions of each song in my iTunes library. Anyone know why this would happen? Thanks! ade_compaud
Is there a .m3u(?) playlist in the folder? If so, this could be the problem - you could try dragging and dropping the tracks you want from the folder to itunes Link to comment
catastrofe
This was exactly the issue. I deleted the songs from my iTunes library, deleted the M3U playlists from the Zunior folders and re-copied the folders into iTunes. No duplicates this time. What's an M3U playlist and what purpose does it serve? mac
Hi. A m3u file is just a plain text file with a list of media files locations. please check the wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M3U MAC Link to comment
