Ok, back on topic. Some background story. 05.04.2021, the Netherlands, quite lots of sunshine in the afternoon with two 5min breaks filled with light blizzards, then 30min of quite dense snow.. Throughout the day - maximum 6 Celsius, minimum 6 Beaufort. In short - leaving home could be regarded as an act of heroism in these circumstances. The effect - the guy who recently criticized Grateful Dead on this forum played eg almost whole this album in small portions throughout the afternoon.. Yes, I know I'm exposing publicly one of my Achilles' heels to a potential attack on me.. Still had lots of fun with those hits from the times of my childhood.

I saw this being played via Roon in a picture of someones desktop in the thread about @The Computer Audiophile and his desktop speakers, and it reminded me I wanted to buy it. My wife and I finally watched the movie last night.

It is rather lamentable that arranging large orchestral works for a small chamber ensemble to perform at home is no longer en vogue. Mozart's famous pieces arranged by Johann Nepomuk Hummel.
