Ginger Baker with Bill Frisell and Charlie Haden. It's definitely a jazz trio, but has some rock elements.

Good performances and really good sound.

His only solo album I have. I think his drumming has usually been a little 'square' though.

Streaming, which means my favorite mp3 sound 9_9 while waiting for the CD to arrive. More on 'My Essential'..

Two albums that I played the heck out of in middle school and high school. Great stuff.

Yeah its been a long time since I broke out those albums along with several other similar ones from that era and before. Its the only real rap that ever existed IMO. Cant even listen to what has passed as rap since for the last 15yrs or so.

Good stuff indeed 👍

What started as a Kickstarter several years by an unrecorded orchestra for a never recorded piece by a long neglected composer has culminated in a Grammy...well done to the Experiential Orchestra for the vision, passion, and resolve to see this  project through!
