I listened to this recently and was also very surprised at the relatively poor sound quality. As you noted, very, very unlike ECM in my experience too.And a shame, as the music and performance deserves far better.

I guess there was a reason why it hasn't been released for almost 50 years. I don't think this was ever intended as an album.

On the cover is a completely gorgeous ancient Egyptian fragment from the Metropolitan Museum, mysterious and sensual. Saw it there some years ago.

Beautiful indeed. One of my favorite Amsterdam monuments. It's not Egyptian though, of course..:)

Among others I got this 24/96 gem, released in 2015, for €7.49. Amazing.

That's cheaper than in the UK where it's selling at £10.99...

Do you have Sublime?

I do not. That's where the difference comes from:

Hi-Res (with Sublime+)

£5.49

£8.99(-39%)

She's a particular favorite. I'll have to see if I have the hi-res.

Got her 2020 Bach Cello Suites (24-96) a couple of days ago and also an older CD with Heinrich Schiff performing them. Two very different performances but IMO both interesting!
