Such an amazing album, and an amazing performance (and format) in a dire time.  "Dreamsicle" is an instant American classic (when Jason Isbell writes a song, it stays wrote)

Say what you want about my horrible musical tastes, but I really like this debut album by the former First Lady of France.

For me in case of LZ it's their 1970 Royal Albert Hall concert, it's one of the few DVDs I had ripped to audio format.

I agree.

Ondine half price sale at Chandos finishing soon.

Agree +1. I like a lot of Vogt's albums on Ondine. Sadly the 50% sale seems to have ended prematurely, as I do not see any discount on the Chandos site.

Although my main interests are classical and jazz, I try to keep an eye on pop/rock. So once in a while I buy a few music magazines, I poor myself a good pint (a La Trappe Quadrupel this evening 😛) and browse YouTube. Listening to what's new.

I haven't bought this album yet, but it's high on the greed list. If you fancy sixties/seventies soul, give this album a listen!

With no public fireworks show here this July 4, I came up with this as a substitute! Love this recording.
