One more mp3 material today - the new Scofield's album has qualified for the library, I'm still not a fan though x-D. My expectations in case of this one are actually higher.

On the DaCapo album Teresa recommended, I greatly enjoy "Pan and Syrinx", "Helios" and the last 2 movements of "Snefrid".

For the symphonies, my favorite performances are Bernstein and Schonwandt.  I haven’t heard the new Dausgaard/Seattle.

@austinpopNielsen's 4th symphony is both his best and his least raucous.  Next best are 3 and 5.  The others are much less well regarded.

Thanks. I'm quite enjoying the Da Capo album.

And you're right, his 4th is quite engaging. Listening to this version:

Until today I only had it on vinyl. Listening this way was much easier.

Absolutely. I have everything now on digital files locally and it is awesome to be able to make playlists (JRiver), so much easier than the days of "mixed tapes". To be able to play albums or artists or random or genre or playlists or 5 star or just covers or recently added or ...it just goes on. Streaming obviously offers so much as well.
