Indeed, they appear to be meticulous on their production and re-mastering.  I have owned many of the original issues and then later the Esoteric remastered version, did some comparisons and found that it was overall well worth the extra investment.

Indeed!  It won a Grammy for Best Engineered, but you better be careful which issue... it’s known that a couple were not mastered or transferred to CD correctly and sound really bright.

For sound quality / realism I quite like Dorian's minimally-mic'ed recording of Le Sacre du Printemps by the DSO with Mata conducting:
