I'm sure you know this but there are two versions of this album - the original release and the soundtrack from the movie which is essentially Bruce and his band playing the album live in his barn. BTW, I highly recommend the movie to anyone who hasn't seen it. I'll second recommending the movie. WELL worth watching! JC Link to comment

AnotherSpin
Another Goldberg variations. Very, very far from the traditional way of performing. Not for Gustav Leonhardt fans. Actually, the Busoni adaptation. sphinxsix 1 Link to comment

coleb13
I was hoping to go see these two young artists perform locally next month but it isn't turning out to be a good time for live performances. I thought it would be interesting to see how they make the combination of acoustic guitar and jazz trombone work. Fortunately, I have had plenty of time to find and listen to their new album. They make it work! Setting Rays of Summer by Natalie Cressman & Ian Faquini https://open.qobuz.com/album/b3xl94ariovjc Link to comment
