Two Bass Hits - Ray Brown, Pierre Boussaguet & Dado Moroni

Found this on Amazon HD Music.

I'm a big Ray Brown fan so I went onto Amazon to buy a copy for my collection.

One copy available, $234.78

Told the wife I just covered my Amazon Music subscription for the year. 👺

Couldn't you have waited for a more reasonable price?

Thanks for the Ray Brown tip - just bought the download on Presto Music for a price-I-couldn't-refuse.

Thanks for sharing that link. I've bought classical albums from Presto but for some reason failed to realize they also sold jazz.

A recent addition to the collection. Always had a soft spot for great soul music (or whatever you may call it).

Such a great album!

Thanks for reminding me of it.

Well, so far so good. Both Dire Straits and Love Over Gold are better than any other version in my possession. In the case of the former, I like this MFSL version better than the SHM-SACD. With Love Over Gold, I just have the original CD release, and this MFSL SACD is significantly better.

Tomorrow, the other two...

I just got these too.  They sound great!

I have always loved all 4 of these albums + Brothers in Arms.  This band has a place in my top 10 (favorite) list, and Knopfler definitely cracks my top 5 guitarist list...
