+1. However, I would prefer original inspiration to this group, classic Ornette Coleman Quartet... And, if we are speaking about Haden, I would like to mention Keith Jarrett' Quartet recordings on Impulse (Byablue, etc.) and, of course, Survivor's Suite on ECM.

These Everest recordings never cease to me! This one was recorded in 1960, on 35mm magnetic film, and like the whole series, rivals modern recordings.

Looking around for a specific remix of a London Grammar song yesterday lead to a live Mazzy Star performance, posted in song of the day, instead.  Ended up deciding to look at slightly newer and less overexposed material last night.

I would like to point out that recently ECM Records did some stunning transfers from the original analog tapes to digital. Most of them are first time available on digital ever and I pulled the trigger buying these two below. Both are legit, very good sounding in 24/96 and I think landmarks of ECM catalogue! Next one I will purchase will be Steve Kuhn (saving money).
